Good quality handcrafted natural soap properties. What are they? There are two totally different soaps. Good quality handcrafted natural soap and synthetic soap- the mass-produced soap . Good quality handcrafted natural soap- the true soap – is created by mixing together oils such as olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil and castor oil, or fats and lye. During the mixture a reaction takes place and is called saponification process. The result of this reaction – process is a combination of soap and glycerin. Using olive oil for example will leave elements of olives, using coconut oil will leave elements of coconut, using castor oil will leave elements of castor and so on. Other natural ingredients can of course be added, like donkey milk , for skin nourishment or oatmeal or coffee grounds for exfoliant properties.
